The philosophical model of ‘Life Drive’ has become an important and foundational guiding principle for my work. This model proposes that all human beings and organizations are driven by two inherent drives – Life Drive and Death Drive. The Life Drive pushes us in the direction of exploration, creation, growth and love, whereas the Death Drive pushes us in the direction of withdrawal, passivity, decay and jealousy. The battle between these two drives keeps going on within us every day. Whether we are able to live out our true potential depends entirely on our capacity to recognize and defeat the ‘enemy within’ – the death drive and on our capacity to systematically nurture our ‘Life Drive’.

My hope and aspiration for Life Drive Lab is that it becomes a meaningful and powerful catalyst that helps all the individuals and organizations it works with, unleash, grow and manifest their own ‘Life Drive’.
